Her entire life, Saraiya Rowland believed she was just an ordinary human, until her divine powers awaken and she unintentionally releases a surge of energy that shakes the entire world. This attracts a shadow monster that tries to steal her soul. After surviving the attack, she learns that she is the Celestial Goddess, destined to save the world from entities that want her power for themselves. According to an ancient prophecy, Saraiya has to travel the world, reclaiming the fragments of her lost powers. Disappearing from society to protect herself and her brother, Raiya is entrusted with a MoonStone that helps to locate and store her powers until she's ready to use them. Along the way she has to fight more of the shadow monsters who seek her fragments to destroy the world, and the government that wants to make her into a super weapon so the rest of the world would respect, or fear them. The fate of the country, the fate of the entire world rests in the hands of Raiya and her newfound family.
MoonStone follows Saraiya's journey through adulthood as she discovers who she is and how to fulfill her destiny in saving the world. The series is intended for a mature audience, young adults coming-of-age and older, covering very sensitive topics with the intention of bringing awareness to behavior that is unfortunately often ignored or normalized. MoonStone focuses on spirituality and enlightenment, all in the hopes that it will help people learn how to come together so we can collectively make the world a better place.
